The duration of a training event varies depending on the program design and the content being taught - it can be as short as an hour or as long a multiple full days.  Virtual Classroom workshops are typically 3 hours per workshop.  In-Person classes can be any length, however we find there is only so much information that can be absorbed in a single training event.  A few years ago it was commonplace to stage a 2-3 day training event.  We're finding that shorter half-day events are far more effective for our participants, and allow them to be able to absorb the material and put it to use between sessions.  In the past, prior to having an effective Virtual Classroom, the costs and logistics of setting up multiple short events was prohibitive.  With current technology and our uniquely designed material it opens up new options for training delivery.
